Experience Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Yukata

Yukatas are light, casual summer kimono-style garments traditionally worn during festivals and seasonal celebrations in Japan. Today, both locals and visitors enjoy wearing yukata during summer events and cultural experiences. Made from breathable cotton and secured with an obi (belt), yukatas are available for all genders and ages. For the most authentic experience, guests are encouraged to bring their own sandals or flip-flops, as footwear rentals are not included.

Yukata dressing is available throughout the summer season by online reservation, with limited walk-in availability depending on capacity. Online reservations are strongly recommended, as spaces fill quickly. Reservations are available for up to 10 guests per hour (5 guests every 30 minutes).

All payments must be completed online or at the Bunka Centre (BC) prior to the dressing appointment. Guests who pay online must present their payment receipt to the Garden Yukata Staff or Volunteers upon arrival.

Guests are expected to return their yukata by the program end time listed for the day.

Pricing: Admission to Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden is not included and must be purchased separately.
