Nikka Yuko in National News!

We are honoured to share that the first-ever Yosakoi Festival in North America, hosted right here at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge, has been featured in national Japanese media!

This historic event brought together 14 incredible teams, uniting dancers from across regions through the power of naruko clappers and cultural exchange. It marks a new chapter in the global spread of Yosakoi, with Canada now proudly joining the tradition.

The article celebrates the deepening friendship between Canada and Japan, and we are proud to see our community recognized on an international stage.
