Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden Welcomes the 2025 Sugar Beet Wellness Tour!

We are thrilled to announce that Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden will be a featured stop on the 2025 Sugar Beet Wellness Tour! This special journey, organized by Tonari Gumi, highlights Japanese Canadian history, health, and heritage—connecting generations through a powerful, shared experience.

As part of this meaningful tour, Dr. Carly Adams will deliver a special presentation when the group visits our garden. We are honoured to welcome participants to the peaceful beauty of Nikka Yuko and to be part of this nationally recognized event.

About the Sugar Beet Wellness Tour

The Sugar Beet Wellness Tour is a unique seven-day, six-night experience exploring key historical and cultural sites connected to Japanese Canadian history. Its focus is on wellness and intergenerational connection. The tour draws its name from the sugar beet fields where many Japanese Canadians worked during the internment and relocation period.
