The goals for the both classes are:

Beginners class

• Being able to introduce yourself
• Asking questions such as names and prices
• Numbers
• Ordering food at a cafe or a restaurant.

Intermediate class

• Learning particles
• Learning adjectives
• Learning te forms
• Practicing writing in Japanese

About Tomoko Greenshields:

Tomoko Greenshields was born and raised in Japan. She has been teaching the Japanese language classes at the Nikka-Yuko garden for five years. She tries to make sure the students will have many opportunities to practice speaking Japanese during the class time. She hopes that learning Japanese will be an enjoyable experience for the students. 

She enjoys taking her dog for a walk and listening to music in her free time.

Beginner I

Perfect for first-time learners or those wanting to review the basics.
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Duration: 1 hour

Intermediate I

Ideal for those who already know some Japanese and want to strengthen their understanding.
Time: 7:15 PM – 8:15 PM
Duration: 1 hour
