There will be two showings on November 10.

• The first one is called Dad’s Lunchbox and will have a start time of 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. This film was inspired by the real-life story of a Japanese father who, for the three years his daughter spent at high school, prepared daily bento lunch boxes for her, leading to delicious, interesting, or offbeat creations. In all cases, he put an effort into equipping his daughter with sustenance for school.
• The second film is called Bento Harassment and will have a start time of 3:00 PM. Wishing to open up another line of communication with her rebellious teenage daughter, in the name of light-hearted revenge, single mother Kaori begins creating embarrassingly sweet messages in her child’s lunchbox meals. Will it work?

While there is no charge for this film festival, tickets still need to be secured to reserve your seat.
