Meditation on Readings (Lectio Divina) - $30/class

Offered May 23 (11AM)

This style of meditation shows participants how to take a “deep dive” into various texts, discerning their importance and meaning in their own life. Historically a contemplative tradition used by Benedictine Monks, Aaron adapts the practice so that it can be used with various inspirational texts, poetry, and even the lyrics of music. Last year, Aaron used the texts of Rumi for the practice. This year, he will use inspirational texts from Brad Warner, author of Hardcore Zen. Participants should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of class and meet your instructor at the Nikka Yuko Visitors Centre. As we are following all COVID protocols, classes are limited to 10 people, therefore all participants must register online up to one hour prior to the start of the course. Walk-ins will not be allowed at this time.
