Yuko this Saturday and experience the beauty and serenity of nature as
expressed through Japanese Gardening.
Garden's will be hosting cultural activities in the pavilion in the morning and
The Garden's master storyteller Tada Matsui will be sharing some traditional
Japanese folk stories and he will be joined by the Garden’s maneki-neko (lucky
greeting cat), Tomo the Cat. This program is perfect for the young and the
young at heart.
Lethbridge Community Taiko Association will be bringing
the thunder to the Garden through their powerful taiko drumming. This
blend of music and martial arts is sure to entertain the whole family.
Finally, join one of the Garden’s three daily tours offered at 10:00am, 2:00pm
and 4:00pm, and learn about the history and design of Nikka Yuko as well as the
core principles of Japanese Gardening.
