Visit Nikka Yuko this Saturday and experience the beauty and serenity of nature as expressed through Japanese Gardening.
The Garden's will be hosting yukata dressing and cultural activities in the pavilion in the morning and afternoon. Try on the Garden’s incredible collection of yukata, kimono or happi jackets. This program is ideal for taking beautiful photos around the Garden.
The Garden's master storyteller Tada Matsui will be sharing some traditional Japanese folk stories and he will be joined by the Garden’s maneki-neko (lucky greeting cat), Tomo the Cat. This program is perfect for the young and the young at heart.
Finally, join one of the Garden’s three daily tours offered at 10:00am, 2:00pm and 4:00pm, and learn about the history and design of Nikka Yuko as well as the core principles of Japanese Gardening.
